Steamer

For my final thesis, I wanted to combine all my skills through my time at school and funnel it towards a project I was interested in.

As I like kitchen appliances, I decided to design an appliance that took a basic function and utilized it in a way that maximized the capabilities of that function. Many different appliances complete similar functions, so finding a way to combine these functions could create a more versatile product.

I ultimately settled on creating a steam device that could control the pressure inside the chamber to maximize its uses. The chamber could be pressurized to function like a pressure cooker, or could release steam openly to function like a slow cooker. The tiered design further allowed for more versatile functions and allowed for different modules to be inserted based on the desires of the user.

Overall this was a good test of my knowledge. I was able to do a lot of technical research to make sure the product was feasible in function and in market, and complete a lot of design work for 3D modeling and editing.
